Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a longer life by a method wherein a human body sensor gets hidden upon the opening of a toilet lid to prevent failure in better sensing of a human body for the opening or closing of the toilet lid better so that the human body sensor is turned ON only when necessary in the automatic opening or closing of the toilet lid based on the sensing of a user of a toilet with a human body sensor.
SOLUTION: A first human body sensor 52 is provided at an upper part of the front of a washing water tank device 14 while a second human body sensor 56 is provided at a lower part of the front of the tank device 14 which is released forward with a toilet seat 24 opened. When the first human body sensor 52 gets hidden upon opening of a toilet lid 26, the first human body sensor 52 is turned OFF while the second human body sensor 56 is turned ON. On the other hand, when the toilet seat 24 and the toilet lid 26 are closed, the second human body sensor 56 is turned OFF and the first human body sensor 52 alone is turned ON.
