Abstract:
To obtain DNA (RNA) coding for human Ckβ-9 polypeptides and chemokine polypeptides like those and provide a method for producing such peptides by recombinant techniques.
A method for using Ckβ-9 polypeptides for curing leukemia, tumors, chronic infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, fibrotic disorders, wound healing and psoriasis is provided. Antagonists against the polypeptides are obtained. Applications of the antagonist as a therapeutic agent for curing rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammatory and infectious diseases, allergic reactions, prostaglandin-independent feverish diseases and bone marrow failure are provided. Diagnostic methods for detecting the presence of mutations in the Ckβ-9 codings and over-expression of Ckβ-9 proteins are provided.
