Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polynucleotide having highly identical with a nucleic acid sequence encoding IκB-βpolypeptide having a specific amino acid sequence and useful for treatment and diagnosis of e.g. chronic rheumatism autoimmune diseases, Alzheimer's disease, cancer. SOLUTION: This polynucleotide is a new isolated polynucleotide at least 90% identical with a nucleotide encoding IκB-βpolypeptide of the formula, and including a nucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide having IκB-β polypeptide activity or complementary to the above nucleotide. IκB-βpolypeptide and polynucletide are useful for treatment and diagnossls of e.g. chronic rheumatoid, psoriasis, inflammatory intestinal diseases, autoimmune diseases, rejection in the tissue and/or the organ, Alzheimer's diseses, apoprectis, atherosclerosis, restenosis, cancer, virus infection, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and ataxia telangiectasia.
