Abstract:
To obtain a malignant melanoma antigen capable of being applied to diagnosis/treatment for cancer or a gene encoding it.
By preparing a cDNA by the use of a mRNA obtained from a malignant melanoma cell strain, transducing this cDNA into COS7 cell together with HLA-A3 cDNA, acting this COS7 cell on HLA-A3 restrictive T cell by coculture and measuring the amount of interferon γ released from this T cell by the ELIZA method, the new human malignant melanoma antigen is isolated and its T cell epitope (ATYKQINIFK) is identified.
