Abstract:
To provide a humic acid extract solution usable in nourishing solution cultivation, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A method for producing a humic acid extract solution that contains a humic acid having a mass average molecular weight of 800-1,200 and total organic carbon concentration of 25,000-45,000 mg/L and pH of 2.0 to 4.0 includes the following steps. (1) Adding 24-28 pts.mass of a nitric acid in terms of an anhydride with respect to 20 pts.mass of low rank coal. (2) Mixing (1) at 70-80°C for 1-3 hours, and preparing a humic acid crude product having a melanic index of 2.4-2.6. (3) Adding water to the humic acid crude product in a ratio equal to or less than a target solid-liquid ratio, adding alkali including at least one selected from the following 1) to 3) thereto until reaching a pH of 2.0-4.0, and further adding water thereto in a target solid-liquid ratio of 1:4 to 1:6. 1) Potassium hydroxide. 2) Sodium hydroxide. 3) Ammonium hydroxide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
