PURPOSE: To unify the error state display in various different types of humidifiers by providing display means for sequentially stepwisely displaying humidity by a plurality of display lamps, and a controller for selectively displaying to light the plurality of the lamps by a binary number table formed corresponding to trouble sites.
CONSTITUTION: According to lighting examples of a binary notation, at the time of normal operation, a microcomputer selects one of display lamps L1, L2, L3, L4 corresponding to the value of a humidity set by a user to light it to display. Error states E1 to E8 of the drawing individually represent any defects at the humidifier corresponding to the normal operation at the time of normal. When the error states E1 to E8 occurs, the microcomputer flashes the lamp Ld as shown to clarify the defect of the humidifier to the user. In the state E1, the microcomputer flashes the lamp Ld and only the lamp L4 is continuously lit corresponding to '1'.
