Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of directly detecting presence/absence of a humidification tray while suppressing increase in component configuration.SOLUTION: A humidifier includes: a float part 11 for floating according to a water level of water stored in a humidification tray 8; and magnetic detection means A13 and magnetic detection means B14 for detecting a magnetic field at a portion facing the float part 11 of a body case 3. The magnetic detection means A13 is disposed in a position capable of detecting a magnetic field generated by the float part 11 when water is stored in the humidification tray 8 to equal to or more than a predetermined water level, and the magnetic detection means B14 is arranged so that it can detect the magnetic field generated by the float part 11 when there is no water in the humidification tray 8, and one part of a detection range of the magnetic detection means A13 overlaps with one part of a detection range of the magnetic detection means B14. A control unit 7 includes a humidification tray presence/absence determination unit 19 for determining presence/absence of the humidification tray by using a detection result of the magnetic detection means A13 and the magnetic detection means B14. Thus, the expected purpose can be attained.
