To give comfort to an occupant in a cabin, in a humidity control device, more particularly, a humidity control device for controlling relative humidity in the cabin.
In this humidity control device 10, a humidifier 12 and an air conditioning unit 14 are alternately operated based on a 1/f fluctuation pattern 28 fixed in advance, and the relative humidity in the cabin is changed to be increased/decreased by 1/f fluctuation. At this time, humidity in the cabin is adjusted by combining the humidifier 12 and the air conditioning unit 14 in the humidity control device 10, so that the relative humidity in the cabin can be freely increased/decreased. As a result, sharp rhythm of the 1/f fluctuation easily felt by the occupant in the cabin can be generated. In the device 10, the rhythm of the 1/f fluctuation due to a change of humidity in a humidity range of the relative humidity ≥50% and ≤60% to be most comfortable for the occupant in the cabin is provided, so that comfort in a more pleasant indoor environment can be given to the occupant in the cabin.
