Abstract:
A hunting detection device (1) is provided with: a deviation feature quantity calculating unit (31) which calculates a deviation feature quantity by performing frequency analysis of the deviation between the value of operating instruction information (SP) input into a manipulator (10) for driving the final control element of a feedback control system, and the value of behavior information, which is either one of an output (MV) from the manipulator (10) to the final control element or a control quantity of a controlled object; a similar feature quantity calculating unit (32) which performs frequency analysis of the respective values of the operating instruction information (SP) and the behavior information, to calculate a similar feature quantity between the operating instruction information (SP) and the behavior information; and a hunting determination unit (4) which determines the presence or absence of a hunting phenomenon and the need for maintenance of the manipulator (10) on the basis of the deviation feature quantity and the similar feature quantity.
