Abstract:

To suppress deterioration of emission at start-up by properly starting an internal combustion engine when the internal combustion engine intermittently operates that requires warm-up during EV-priority mode.

When a cooling water temperature Tw is less than a predetermined temperature Tref at the time of the engine start during EV-priority mode, correction coefficients k1, k2, k3 are set so that a fuel increase amount becomes smaller as a temperature of a combustion chamber becomes higher by use of an engine start speed Nst, a previous operation duration time Tcont, and an operation stop lapsed time Tstop as parameters having correlation with the temperature of the combustion chamber of the engine (S530), a basic fuel increase amount τ0 determined in advance as the fuel increase amount required when the warm-up of the engine is required is multiplied by the correction coefficients k1, k2, k3 to calculate the fuel increase amount τα (S540), a fuel injection using the calculated fuel increase amount τα is performed, and the engine 22 is started (S550).
