Abstract:
To improve the energy efficiency of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A control apparatus performs a route guidance of a travel-planned route and, in the case of determining that the travel-planned route includes a congested section on the basis of congestion information, executes congestion-specific charge control to control an engine and a motor so as to increase a power-storage ratio of a battery in comparison with the case of determining that the travel-planned route does not include the congested section, after an own vehicle passes a point before a start point of a congested section until the vehicle passes an end point of the congested section. In such configuration, in a case where a vehicular speed of a preceding vehicle is equal to or higher than a given speed in the congested section while the congestion-specific charge control is executed, the control device ends the congestion-specific charge control or performs control so as to decrease the power-storage ratio of the battery, as the congestion-specific charge control, in comparison with the case of the vehicular speed of the preceding vehicle is less than the given speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
