PURPOSE: To suppress the reduction of the brake power in an intermediate speed region by forming the magnetic pole of a magnetic pole iron core to a comb shape oppositely to a rail surface, in a hybrid brake device which is installed on a bogie and obtains a brake power between the rail.
CONSTITUTION: A hybrid brake device installed on a bogie is equipped with a magnetic pole coil 30 between the magnetic pole iron cores 31 and 32 which are oppositely arranged, and the magnetic pole coil 30 is supported through a magnetic pole iron core 33 and buffer member, etc., which are inserted into the hollow part. The magnetic pole iron cores 31 and 32 are constituted of vertical surface parts 34 and 36 and horizontal surface parts 35 and 37 which extend in the horizontal direction inside in the lower parts of the vertical surface parts 34 and 36, and a plurality of magnetic poles 35a and 37a which are arranged in comb shape between the grooves 34b,... and grooves 36b,... which are formed in a prescribed pitch along the longitudinal direction in the lower parts of the vertical surface parts 34 and 36. These magnetic poles 35a and 37a are arranged alternately through a fine gap, and a brake shoe 38 is installed on the undersurfaces of the magnetic poles 35a and 37a.
