Abstract:

To more efficiently achieve the reduction of the exhaust amount of exhaust gas and the improvement of fuel consumption as compared with the conventional manner.

When an output requirement is equal to or smaller than the minimum torque of an engine, the torque is output by using the engine, and when the output requirement is larger than the minimum torque of the engine, and smaller than the maximum torque of a motor, the engine is set to the minimum torque, and residual torque calculated by subtracting the minimum torque of the engine from the output requirement is output by using the motor, and when the output requirement is larger than the minimum torque of the engine, and is equal to or larger than the maximum torque of the motor, the motor is set to the maximum torque, and the residual torque calculated by subtracting the maximum torque of the motor from the output requirement is output by using the engine. Also, the set value of the maximum torque of the motor is changed according to the charging amount of the battery which supplies a power source to the motor.
