Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actively give a user an incentive to execute external charging in a hybrid vehicle configured to enable the external charging to be executed.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes: a power storage device for storing traveling electric power; an inlet receiving electric power for performing external charging; and a control device for executing restriction processing for restricting an SOC region (practical use SOC region) of the power storage device used for control. When execution frequency of the external charging is smaller than a threshold value, the control device sets the practical use SOC region to a normal region ΔS1. When the execution frequency of the external charging is larger than the threshold value, the control device executes expanding processing for expanding the practical use SOC region from the normal region ΔS1 to an expansion region ΔS2 by easing the restriction through the restriction processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
