Abstract:
To provide a hybrid drive system capable of reducing size and costs while improving energy consumption efficiency.SOLUTION: A hybrid drive system 1 is equipped with an engine ENG, a first rotary electric machine MG1, a second rotary electric machine MG2, and a power transmission device 10. The power transmission device 10 is equipped with an output shaft 14, a planetary gear mechanism 20, a stepped transmission mechanism 30. In the planetary gear mechanism 20, the engine ENG is connected to a first rotation element, the second rotary electric machine MG2 and the output shaft 14 are connected to a second rotation element, and the first rotary electric machine MG1 is connected to a third rotation element. The stepped transmission mechanism 30 is equipped with a plurality of transmission gear stages 31 with different transmission ratios capable of coupling the two rotation elements of the planetary gear mechanism 20, and a shift mechanism 32 capable of switching the transmission gear stage 31 that becomes a power transmission path. The shift mechanism 32 has a first dog clutch 321 and a second dog clutch 322 capable of coupling to the selected transmission gear stage 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
