To suppress the generation of rattling sound, in a hybrid drive unit provided with a drive transmission mechanism for drivingly connecting an engine and a rotating electric machine, at an engaging part between a gear drivingly connected with the rotating electric machine and a gear, engaging with the gear, and driving force of the engine is transmitted thereto.
The drive transmission mechanism 3 includes: a first drive gear 60 drivingly connected with the engine; a second drive gear 50 drivingly connected with the rotating electric machine MG2; and a counter gear mechanism C for drivingly connecting the first drive gear 60 and the second drive gear 50. The counter gear mechanism C includes a driven gear C2, fixed to a counter shaft C4, and engaging at least with the second drive gear 50. The driven gear C2 is a scissors gear including: a main gear part C21 fixed to the counter shaft C4; and a sub gear part C22 relatively rotatably supported by the main gear part C21 via an energizing mechanism 71 for energizing toward the circumferential direction.
