Abstract:

To provide a hybrid dryer and a drying method which can combine a burner and a heater to reduce fuel consumption and emission of CO2, and also to provide a drying control method of the dryer which can reduce a drying cost and improve drying quality.

The dryer having a hot air generator 110 and a drying chamber 130 includes a heater 116 which can heat the air introduced from an air introduction inlet 119 into the hot air generator 110 and/or the circulating air from within the drying chamber 130 together with a burner 112, or can solely heat the circulating air from within the drying chamber 130. The ON/OFF temperature of the burner 112 is set on the lower temperature side, while the ON/OFF temperature of the heater 116 is set on the higher temperature side based on the drying temperature set in a drying program, providing a temperature difference ΔT between them. The operation of the burner 112 and the heater 116 undergo ON/OFF controls respectively so that the temperature inside the drying chamber can maintain the drying temperature set by the drying program based on the temperature difference ΔT and the indoor temperature sensor 122 installed within the drying chamber.
