Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle control unit capable of suppressing engagement shock accompanying clutch engagement at a time of switching an EV mode to an HEV mode.SOLUTION: A control unit of a hybrid electric vehicle including a torque converter of the present invention starts engaging a clutch if it is determined that a revolving speed of a turbine runner after clutch engagement between a continuously variable transmission and driving wheels is equal to or higher than an engine revolving speed at a time of switchover from an electric running mode to a hybrid running mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
