Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use renewable energy by using a hybrid energy system when a public benefit energy supply source is not normal or is insufficient.SOLUTION: A hybrid energy system 4 is electrically connected to a public benefit energy supply source and a load through a utility bus 7. The hybrid energy system comprises a standby battery 43, a power generation unit 40, a first charge unit 41, an inverter 42, and a control unit 44. The power generation unit converts renewable energy to DC power. When the public benefit energy supply source is not normal or is insufficient, the first charge unit converts the DC power from the power generation unit to first charge energy with which the standby battery is charged as a result. When the public benefit energy supply source is not normal or is insufficient, the inverter converts battery energy from the standby battery into output AC power.
