Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hybrid fibers or membranes which are composed of a composite obtained by compounding at least two types of biopolymers having respective inherent functions, and have at least functions and physical properties or a synergistic function and physical properties inherent in respective components and can be produced without using a chemical crosslinking agent under mild conditions in a simple operation and, in addition, in mass production and are suitable in use as medical materials, and a method for manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION: Molded products, particularly fibers and membranes comprise a composite composed of one or more acidic biopolymers and one or more basic biopolymers in an amount of 0.02-2.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. acidic biopolymers.
