To provide a hybrid power device can reduce a fuel consumption rate by reducing power loss by drag torque generated in a clutch.
Two input shafts 13a and 13b rotatably driven respectively by an engine 10 via two clutches C1 and C2 of a dual clutch 12 are connected to an output shaft 14 via two sets of gear switching mechanism SM1 and SM2, respectively, and one input shaft is connected to a motor generator 15. A control device 20 controls members such as respective clutches so that drive torque of the engine is transmitted to the output shaft via the other gear switching mechanism mounted between the other input shaft and the output shaft by engaging the clutch mounted on the other input shaft that is not connected to the motor, and when the motor is connected to the output shaft, the clutch provided at the one input shaft is also engaged, so that the motor is connected to the output shaft via the one input shaft, both clutches, the other input shaft, and the other gear switching mechanism.
