Abstract:

To smoothen power change from an electric motor to an internal combustion without generating torque fluctuation to realize stable traveling.

A cushioning clutch 5 is arranged on a power transmission system 3 common to an electric motor 1 and an internal combustion engine 2. When a power source is changed from the motor 1 to the engine 2, the clutch 5 is brought into an incomplete clutch condition to prevent output torque fluctuation, which is possibly generated in an upstream of the power transmission system 3 at the time of the change of the power source, from being transmitted to a differential gear 6 and traveling wheels.
