Abstract:
To provide a simple hybrid system for a ship propulsion.SOLUTION: A drive transmission shaft 23 is rotated by one or both driving forces of an engine 5 and a motor 6 in a hybrid system 1 to drive a propeller 2. A marine gear 12 decelerates rotation of the drive transmission shaft 23. An engine clutch 41 is arranged in a drive transmission path from the engine 5 to the drive transmission shaft 23 and switched between connection and cut-off states. A transmission clutch 42 is arranged in the drive transmission path from the drive transmission shaft 23 to the propeller 2 and switched between the connection and cut-off states. A controller 14 controls to supply electric power to the motor 6 and rotate it in an electric propulsion mode which drives the propeller 2 by the motor 6, to make the engine clutch 41 be in the cut-off state by not supplying the hydraulic oil from a hydraulic pump 45, and to make the transmission clutch 42 be in the connection state by supplying the hydraulic oil from the hydraulic pump 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
