Abstract:

To provide a turbine blade constituted of a number of parts made of different materials.

The multiple part hybrid turbine blade has a shank and an aerofoil profile. The aerofoil profile has a composite material with first density. The composite material has a recess and an insertion body. The insertion body has second density lower than the first density. The insertion body is arranged in the recess and joined with the composite material. The composite material cooperates with the insertion body to define a shape of the aerofoil profile. The manufacturing method includes the lamination of a composite material layer to form a part of the composite material. A part of the composite material has the recess. The insertion body is disposed in the recess. While covering the insertion body, the lamination of an additional composite material layer is performed to obtain the final desired thickness of the composite material.
