Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of eliminating the variation of the capacity of a battery pack even while a vehicle is running. SOLUTION: An SOC detection value of the battery pack formed by connecting the required number of batteries in series is determined (402), and an SOC constant control for converting the SOC detection value to a prescribed SOC target value is performed. When it is determined that capacity variation between the batteries (or battery modules) in the battery pack exceeds a prescribed level (403), the SOC detection value is decreased at prescribed rate (411), to perform uniform charging.
