To provide a hybrid vehicle control device capable of properly setting a target supercharging pressure for a supercharger while protecting a motor and an electric system component of a hybrid system such as an electric power supply circuit for supplying electric power to the motor.
A hybrid vehicle control device sets an upper limit value Plim of a target supercharging pressure to a small value reverse to an increase in water temperature TMPinv of an inverter constituting an electric power supply circuit supplying electric power to a first motor generator (step S21). The control device sets the target supercharging pressure for the supercharger in a range not exceeding the upper limit value Plim at that point of time, and adjusts a supercharging pressure of the supercharger on the basis of the set target supercharging pressure. Furthermore, the control device causes a load torque to be output from the first motor generator.
