Abstract:
To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle whose exhaust emission is suppressed from deteriorating.SOLUTION: A control device of a hybrid vehicle, which is provided with an engine and a motor as power sources for vehicle-travelling and a catalyst provided on an exhaust passage of the engine, is further provided with: an intermittent operation control part that automatically stops the engine when requested output to the hybrid vehicle becomes lower than or equal to a stop threshold, and automatically starts the engine when the requested output becomes higher than or equal to a start threshold that is higher than the stop threshold; a determining part that determines whether or not a temperature of the catalyst at the time when the engine is automatically stopped is lower than or equal to a predetermined temperature which is higher than an active temperature; and a switching part that switches at least either of the stop threshold and the start threshold to a smaller value, when a determination by the determining part is affirmative than when the determination by determining part is negative.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
