Title:
HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3687463
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a hybrid vehicle by understanding the charged state of a battery more precisely.
SOLUTION: Charged capacity of a battery is calculated by temporally integrating for charging and discharging currents to the battery. Then, a first charging rate is calculated as the ratio of the current charged capacity to the given initial capacity of the battery, and a second one is calculated as the ratio of the current charged capacity to the charged capacity of the battery. Furthermore, in the discharge of the large capacity of the battery, the charged capacity of the battery is obtained from the discharging time property times, so that it is changed (initialized), and by overcharging the battery periodically, the charged capacity at this is learned as fully charged capacity. Then, the approval of an idling-stop control is determined, based on the first charging rate, and a regenerative control (generation capacity control) is performed at performed at deceleration time, based on the second charging rate.
