Abstract:
The vehicle has a battery charge state detection unit (11) detecting a charge state of a battery (10). A clutch control unit (51) is engaged with a clutch (2) when the control unit sets a transmission (4) in a non-drive range, and when the charge state of the battery lies within a predefined range. A motor control unit (52) performs a zero-speed control of a motor (3) when an output shaft speed of the transmission detected by a transmission output shaft rotational speed detecting unit is less than a predetermined speed to control the speed of the motor to zero speed. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a hybrid vehicle.
