Abstract:
To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle which can achieve high NV performance, even if a capacitor cannot be charged with regenerative electric power when braking the hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle is equipped with: an internal combustion engine; a first motor generator (MG1) that generates electricity by power of the internal combustion engine; a capacitor; a second motor generator (MG2) that is driven by electricity supply from at least one of the capacitor and MG1; and a booster that boosts input voltages of the MG2 when operating the MG2 as an electro motor. A control device of the hybrid vehicle performs control so that the MG1 is driven as the electro motor by regenerative electric power obtained by operating the MG2 as a power generator when braking the hybrid vehicle and the MG1 is driven at an inefficient operating point in an operatable range of the MG1 expanded by the input voltages of the MG1 boosted by the booster.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
