Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle capable of accelerating warming-up of an engine without lowering fuel economy, and a control method for the same.SOLUTION: An ECU 13 determines whether or not an HEV 1A is in a warm-up operation. When the HEV 1A is in the warm-up operation, a motor clutch 12 is engaged, and a traveling motor 6 is used as a power generator so that a battery 8 can be charged through an inverter 7.
