Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle and a control method therefor, which enable the reproduction of a filter for cleaning the exhaust gas while improving fuel economy.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes a hybrid system 20, a filter 42 for cleaning exhaust gas, a control apparatus 70, and a retarder 16. In a case where a clutch 14 connecting an engine 10 to a motor-generator 21 is disengaged, disconnecting the motor-generator from the engine, with the hybrid vehicle in a motor-only travel state in which the vehicle travels on the drive power of the motor-generator, the control apparatus executes control processing to cause the engine to combustion and the retarder to operate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
