To provide a driving device for a hybrid vehicle capable of allowing the power generation in stopping a vehicle in an idling state and the regeneration in a high efficiency area of a motor.
This driving device for the hybrid vehicle comprises an engine 11, the motor 16, a first transmission part 12a of which an input shaft is connected with a rotating shaft of the engine 11 through a torque converter part 20, a Ravigneaux type planetary gear 26 having a rotating shaft of a carrier 26c connected with an output shaft 3 of the first transmission part 12a, a rotating shaft of a ring gear connected with a driving shaft 13, a rotating shaft of a first sun gear 26s1 connected with a rotating shaft of the motor 16, and a rotating shaft of a second sun gear 26s2, a clutch 52 for restricting the rotation of the rotating shaft of the second sun gear 26s2, and a clutch 51 for conforming rotating speeds of the four rotating shafts of the Ravigneaux type planetary gear 26.
