To aim at cost reduction and miniaturization of a hybrid vehicle driving device.
A plurality of change gear ratios are set by planetary gearing mechanisms 15, 20. An engine 1 and a first motor generator 10 conducting conversion between mechanical energy and electric power are provided. Two pairs of four-elements planetary gearing mechanisms 15, 20 as any of an input element and an output element, and a reaction force element are provided. The engine 1 is connected with the input element of one planetary gearing mechanism 15, and the first motor generator 10 is connected with the reaction force element of the planetary gearing mechanism 15. Furthermore, the output element and at least one of the other elements of the planetary gearing mechanism 15 are always or selectively connected with any element of the other planetary gearing mechanism. Moreover, the input element and the reaction force element are configured to be positioned on both sides of the output element interposed therebetween in the alignment chart of the planetary gearing mechanism 15.
