Abstract:
To provide a hybrid vehicle able to stop an engine during traveling which does not depend on the drive by the engine.
The hybrid vehicle comprises: an engine auxiliary machine 10 connected through an engine side auxiliary machine clutch 8 to an engine 2 and connected through a transmission side auxiliary machine clutch 9 to a transmission 4; a regenerative-travel control unit 11 performing a regenerative travel in which a main clutch 3 is disengaged to regeneratively drive an electric motor 5; and a regenerative-travel-time auxiliary machine drive control unit 12 driving the engine auxiliary machine 10 by using a vehicle load in such a way that, during the regenerative travel time, the engine 2 is stopped, the engine side auxiliary machine clutch 8 is disengaged, and the transmission side auxiliary machine clutch 9 is engaged.
