A hybrid vehicle, when starting of an engine is directed under traveling, calculates electric power obtained by decreasing total electric power of a first motor starting electric power P1 (t) required for starting the engine and a second motor traveling electric power P2 (t) required for traveling from an output restriction Wout that is the dischargeable electric power of the battery, as the boosting usable electric power Pc(t) that is usable by the boosting converter (S120); calculates a boosting rate ΔVH of a voltage of a drive voltage system power line by using the calculated boosting usable electric power Pc(t) and the actual voltage VH of the drive voltage system (S140); calculates the voltage obtained by adding calculated boosting rate ΔVH to the actual voltage VH of the drive voltage system as a boosting target voltage VHtag to be acted to the drive voltage system power line (S150); and controls the boost converter so that the calculated the boosting target voltage VHtag acts on the drive voltage system power line (S160).
