Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly deal with occurrence of abnormal noise in a mechanical mechanism such as a planetary gear.SOLUTION: When tapping noise is detected when engine speed Ne is within a resonance band, basically the engine speed Ne is changed to either one, closer to the speed Ne, of a lower limit speed Nf1 and an upper limit speed Nf2 of the resonance band to lie outside of the resonance band (for example, point A→B). When it is predicted that power storage ratio SOC of a battery cannot be maintained within an acceptable range for predetermined time if the engine speed Ne is changed to the either one, closer to the speed Ne, of the lower limit speed Nf1 and the upper limit speed Nf2, the engine speed Ne is changed to either one, farther from the speed Ne, of the lower limit speed Nf1 and the upper limit speed Nf2 to lie outside of the resonance band (for example point A→D).
