Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing deterioration of drive torque by stopping ripple control under a specific condition where a deterioration of motor torque influences a deterioration of drive torque in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes an engine, a traveling motor, a power transmission mechanism for transmitting a revolution of the engine only in a forward direction of a wheel, and a controller. The controller performs: causing the motor and the engine to output drive torque in a forward direction and executing ripple control for suppressing torque ripple of the motor, if an accelerator opening degree is equal to or more than a first threshold, with a shift position at a forward-traveling position; and causing the motor to output drive torque in a reverse direction, without executing the ripple control, if the accelerator opening degree is equal to or more than a second threshold, with the shift position at a reverse-traveling position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
