Abstract:
To prevent discomfort from being imparted to a driver traveling in a CD mode or a CS mode according to a traveling plan.SOLUTION: When predetermined conditions including a condition of setting a destination are not established, first control is executed in which, while a CD mode and a CS mode are switched, an engine and a motor are controlled such that a vehicle travels with requested output for traveling matching an amount of accelerator operation. When the predetermined conditions are established, second control is executed, in which the engine and the motor are controlled such that the vehicle travels with requested output according to a traveling plan in which the CD mode or CS mode is assigned to each of traveling sections of a traveling route to the destination. When the second control is executed, the requested output is set such that the difference in requested output for the same amount of accelerator operation in the CD mode and the CS mode is decreased in comparison with a case where the first control is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
