Abstract:
To suppress a decrease in EV travel distance while suppressing a high rate deterioration of a secondary battery in a hybrid vehicle loaded with the secondary loaded.SOLUTION: An ECU100 calculates an evaluation value ΣD that indicates a degree of high rate deterioration of a battery 50 resultant from a deviation in the battery 50, and, when the battery 50 is evaluated to deteriorate by the evaluation value ΣD, executes high rate deterioration suppressing control that raises SOC by pulling up a control target. The ECU100, when an engine 11 operates upon execution of high rate deterioration suppressing control on an HV mode, pulls up the control target when the engine 11 is being operated on load, while does not pull up the control target when the engine 11 is being operated in an idle state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
