Abstract:
A hybrid vehicle (1) is equipped with a drive unit (10), and an automatic transmission (30). The automatic transmission (30) includes engagement elements (CI, C2, B1, B2) that can transmit power between the drive unit (10) and driving wheels (44). The drive unit (10) includes an engine (11), a first motor generator (MG1), a second motor generator (MG2), and a planetary gear mechanism (24). The hybrid vehicle (1) is further equipped with a mechanical oil pump (80) and an electrical oil pump (50), and a controller (60). The controller (60) continues operating the electrical oil pump (50) while the internal combustion engine (11) is not in operation after the internal combustion engine (11) is stopped as a result of a system stop operation by a user while the vehicle (1) is running at a vehicle speed equal to or higher than a predetermined value.
