To provide a hydrant device to be easily arranged, which is the hydrant device for a tunnel to be arranged, especially, in a checkup path in a road tunnel.
The hydrant device having a fire extinguishing hose with a nozzle arranged at the distal end inside a case body includes a hydrant valve unit incorporating a hydrant valve in a branch part from a distributing main pipe arranged outside the case body. A part from the secondary side of the hydrant valve to the fire extinguishing hose is connected by a flexible piping member. When water is discharged from the nozzle, the hydrant valve is opened so as to allow fire extinguishing water to flow into the piping member. Since a part from the hydrant valve unit to the case body of the hydrant device is connected by the flexible piping member without being filled with water, works till a piping arrangement work in addition to a heat insulation work are reduced, thereby largely shortening a work time for arrangement or renovation.
