Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydration reaction method for unsaturated hydrocarbons with a high conversion rate and yield.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a hydration reaction method for unsaturated hydrocarbons that comprises a heating step of heating a mixture comprising an unsaturated hydrocarbon, water, and a catalyst with microwaves to obtain an unsaturated hydrocarbon hydrate, wherein, preferably, the catalyst is an acidic solid material; more preferably, the acidic solid material is crystalline silica alumina; further preferably, the silica alumina is ZSM-5 zeolite; the catalyst may be a heteropoly acid aqueous solution; and the unsaturated hydrocarbon may comprise a cyclic unsaturated hydrocarbon.SELECTED DRAWING: None
