PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic braking device for a vehicle, which can perform anti-lock control and traction control and in which a possibility that the brake liquid can not be supplied to a wheel brake is lowered.
CONSTITUTION: The brake liquid of wheel brakes 16, 18 connected to one pressure generating chamber 12a of a master cylinder 12 is separately flowed to a low back pressure reservoir 20 by operating a solenoid switching valve 14a and solenoid cutting valves 14b, 14c. The brake liquid of the low back pressure reservoir 20 is flowed into the wheel brake 16 through a check valve 23 and an orifice 24, and flowed into the wheel brake 18 through a check valve 26 and an orifice 27 by a pump 21 driven by a motor 22. The solenoid cutting valves 14b, 14c are separately operated by the pump 21 so as to separately reduce or increase again the liquid pressure of wheel brakes 13, 14. At the time of the traction control, solenoid switching valves 59, 61 provided in bypass passages 58, 60 are operated.
