Abstract:

To provide a hydraulic composition such as cement that specifies the content of lanthanum that substantially causes no strength loss.

This hydraulic composition suppresses strength loss by adjusting the content of lanthanum to be 0.02 to 0.15 wt.% in an inner percentage on an oxide conversion basis. For example, the hydraulic modulus (HM) of clinker is 2.0 to 2.2, the silica modulus (SM) is 2.3 to 2.8, the iron modulus (IM) is 1.9 to 2.1, the amount of sulfur trioxide is 0.5 to 1.5 wt.%, and the amount of free lime is 0.5 to 1.0 wt.%. In ordinary portland cement in which the amount of sulfur trioxide in the cement is 1.5-3.0 wt.%, lanthanum is included therein at 0.02 to 0.15 wt.% in an inner percentage on an oxide conversion basis.
