To provide a timing spool and a spool cam which aligns surely a timing when sliding each spool, slides each spool smoothly, and prevents generation of seizure.
The hydraulic continuously variable transmission device 1 comprises, on an input shaft 2: an input side plunger 8; an output side plunger 10; a cylinder block 7 storing each timing spool 9; 11 slidably in parallel with the axial direction; an input side swash plate 6 abutting on the tip of the input side plunger 8; and an output side swash plate 12 abutting on the output side plunger 10 on the opposite side to the input side swash plate 6. Each groove part 37a, 47a engaging each one end of each timing spool 9, 11 is provided on each spool cam 37, 47 fixed to the input side housing 4 side or the output side swash plate 12 side, and an abutting part on engaging parts 9d, 11d provided on the tip of each timing spool 9, 11 of the groove parts 37a, 47a is constituted in an arc shape in the cross-sectional view.
