To solve problems that the sliding resistance of a plunger shoe is increased, the starting torque is increased, the noise is generated, and parts are broken by the excessive stress when a hydraulic motor is started or operated at a very low speed since the lubrication between a swash plate or a thrust plate and the plunger shoe is only achieved by the oil film in a conventional hydraulic continuously variable transmission.
A flat plate 36 which is a member having the coefficient of friction smaller than that of the swash plate 31c and the thrust plate 34 is interposed between a thrust plate 34 to be rotatably interposed between the swash plate 31c on the motor 22 side of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission 10 and the plunger shoe 22f and the swash plate 31c.
