A hydraulic continuously variable transmission 10 includes an input shaft 20, a hydraulic variable-speed part X, and an output part 90. The hydraulic variable-speed part X includes a cylinder block 30, a plunger 40 for a hydraulic pump, a swash plate 50 for the hydraulic pump, a plunger 60 for a hydraulic motor, a swash plate 70 for the hydraulic motor, and a swash-plate inclination adjusting mechanism 100. A cradle 72 for a motor of the swash plate 70 for the hydraulic motor is supported with respect to a transmission case 16 and an input shaft 20 by an angular ball bearing 88 and a ball bearing 80. Additionally, an end of the input shaft 20 is supported with respect to the transmission case 16 by the ball bearing 22 in a position to lap in an inter-axis direction with respect to the angular ball bearing 88.
