Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the stability of control when the oil quantity controlled for supply and discharge is small in a hydraulic control device using a balance piston type valve.SOLUTION: A hydraulic control device of a transmission, in which at least one of a supply valve and a discharge valve is formed of a balance piston type valve, comprises: guard set means (step S5) for setting the limit value of a stroke amount in a valve opening direction of a valve element on the basis of the deviation between a target value and an actual value of hydraulic pressure in an oil chamber, which is the control object part; and limitation means (step S8) for so limiting the controlled variable of a control solenoid valve that the stroke amount of a valve element becomes the limit value or less.
