Abstract:
To provide a hydraulic control device of a variable valve mechanism which is suppressed in the occurrence of the shortage of hydraulic pressure.SOLUTION: A hydraulic control device of a hydraulic variable valve mechanism which can change a rotation phase of a camshaft with respect to a crankshaft comprises: a first calculation part for calculating first target hydraulic pressure being a target value of hydraulic pressure supplied to the variable valve mechanism which can maintain the rotation phase at a target phase on the basis of the target phase by the variable valve mechanism; a second calculation part for calculating second target hydraulic pressure being a target value of hydraulic pressure supplied to the variable valve mechanism which can maintain the rotation phase at the target phase on the basis of load torque being the resistance of the rotation of the camshaft which is received by the camshaft from a device driven by the rotation of the camshaft; and a decision part for deciding a larger one of the first hydraulic pressure and the second hydraulic pressure as final target hydraulic pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
